I'm usually not judgemental...for whatever its worth. I go to shows. I like my stereo loud. I like girls who have respect for themselves. I'd say I'm fashioncore more than anything. Lot's of people call me emo; although, those labels speak nothing of character. I'm sometimes clumsy. I mess up. I fall short. I care about my friends, but probably don't tell them so as much as I should. I believe that no choise is made without consequence (Galations 6:7). I don't believe in religion. Religion is all a practice of people who have the same personal preferences, who probably get caught up in regulating rules instead of practicing faith. To me, Jesus Christ means Love, Mercy, and Compassion. I'm sure I can think of more, BUT! My point is: The word "Christian" as we all very well know means, "Christ-like." I've never met anybody who has even closely attained such a level. Therefore, I would rather be know as a "Believer" and more importantly, I hope that people view me as a "Follower" [and my REAL friends know my heart, as well as what to say to keep me in check]. Whenever we begin to really practice Love, Mercy, and Compassion, our hearts become closer to the shape of Jesus' heart. The book of James is one of my favorite books; it's practical. | | I'd like to meet: | I'd like to sit at a table in a VERY fine diner and watch Marilyn Manson and Jesus having a staring contest. |
