Memento is an alternative rock band signed to the Sony/Colimbia Music Group, comprised of Australia natives Justin Stewart Cotta (lead vocals / keyboard), Space (guitar), Lats (bass), and Steve Clark (drums). Their claim to fame in America came from playing on the second stage of Ozzfest 2003. The band was dissolved in late 2004 after personal conflicts amongst the band members and reemerged as Man Vs Clock in 2005. Man Vs Clock never achieved any notable success, and is no longer in existence. However, Justin Stewart Cotta, the band's lead singer and songwriter, is began writing solo music available on his Myspace. In early 2006 the band reformed with a new drummer, Jeff Bowders, under the name "Tower", which was later changed to "Ether". The resurrection of Memento can also be found on Myspace. Ether has been playing shows in the Los Angeles area, frequenting venues such as "The Dragonfly", and are currently recording a new album.
